All volunteer coaches at Life's Headwaters programs meet several criteria and will follow a consistent intake process to ensure a successful Life's Headwaters experience for all coaches and our clients.

Volunteer Coach Requirements:

• agree to the ICF Code of Ethics

• have graduated from an ICF accredited coaching school

• have substantial coaching experience (250 hours preferred)

• submit to a criminal background check

• must live within the US or Canada

• display a desire to work with clients and meet time and work service standards of Life's Headwaters

• understand the definition of the term "pro bono" as "Done without compensation for the public good"

• be able to demonstrate core coaching proficiencies

• have sterling coaching references

• have access to an internet connection/computer and telephone to conduct calls and follow-up

• be excellent communicators, written and verbal

• participate in an orientation and follow the protocols of Life's Headwaters

• believe in the mission

• be the best of the best

• be ready, willing and able
