We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to developing the character and resilience of High School age youth.

We "teach fishing"

We subscribe to the Chinese proverb:

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime".

We believe that handouts damage an individual's self esteem. Learning the skills to deal with life events nurtures an individual's self esteem and inspires confidence in their capabilities.

We invest in youth

We choose to work with High School aged youth because it is a critical developmental period in their lives. It is a time of newfound independence and the transition to adulthood can be confusing. When students learn to clarify their goals and accountably pursue them, their academic and social performance improve. When young people learn these skills it changes how they think as well as how they act, and the benefits will last a lifetime.

We employ Life Coaching principles

Learning and practicing the skills of Life Coaching transforms people's attitudes about life's challenges. Life Coaching is successful when clients recognize that they are responsible for and capable of determining their future direction and then take positive steps to advance toward their goals. We train students and school staff in Life Coaching principles that positively change the way they interact with each other.

We promote personal service

People value things that they must work for. Our Life Coaching services require a commitment from the participant. We prefer involvement in student programs that involve a personal contribution from the student.
